What worries me is that Nightmare might not take no for an answer.

I can't believe this! I imagined a pic that was almost identical! Only that I imagined Nightmare arriving at the gas station with some fancy car, then going through that "you are a god among insects" and Saurus answering back with some line like "Look, Nightmare. I had enough of your ########. "

Heh, never took Sunspear for that big a risk taker, though Saurus is right, might not want to get involved with anyone she’s recruiting or have recruited. One of her members is a mind controller after all assuming she’s back at full health after that Gemini situation.

The Gator Ade makes me laugh and that’s a nice sammich sitting next to it, guess rated raiding Sunspear’s fridge he’s developed a taste for them (like two certain legendary Pokemon)

This came out awesome and yes, I do hope to get a Saurus/Nightmare confrontation with one of Saurus’ other teammates involved as well.

And as for Nightmare’s speech I can imagine Saurus bringing up he got a busted tooth and foot for his troubles which could be countered that that could still happen as a hero.

Buuuut then I can imagine Saurus bringing up he spent 6 months of his life in what he equates to Hell which wouldn’t be as easily countered.

Big gator boy. From another planet. Ended up wrecking shit until supers stopped him. Had to go through an "Orientation training" to get used to human language and then still struggles being a "Productive member of society."

Yeah, Saurus probably would also do good in construction since at his base size he’s still pretty stronk.

Its a great business op, if you don't plan on going supervillain. Or even a cover op for it. You get to destroy buildings like godzilla, and get paid for it? Win/win, to say nothing of the stress relief.

This is even funnier than I thought it would end up. But, I feel sorry for Saurus as he might end up confronting Nightmare in a very awkward moment.

Oh, there’ll be a confrontation but I don’t know how much action there’ll be, it might be something like this with just dialogue, but I don’t know yet since I have something to else planned in between for the time being.

I did not know Saurus belonged to another person ! Always thought he was your character because they blend so well in your world's lore.
