Like the title says, we were all children: we were not afraid of mistakes, we would admire in awe what now seems insignificant to us, we thought everything was possible.

Oh thanks man and I guess the problem pretty much resolved itself, the man said that it was something else messing up my car and it was soo much cheaper that I paid for it all myself and the 200 dollars my mom lent me she let me keep for a birthday present XD
But yeah I miss being a carefree kid doing whatever pleased you as long as it didn't make the parents mad :D

Indeed, I was so happy as a kid, imagining that everything w as possible.
I hate to admit my real age but I grew up during the "space race", a time of amazing potential and dreams of making a better future like on the covers of science fiction magazines. That's why I'm an engineer. I still dream of building wonderful things that inspire awe and a sense of wonder, or at least, keep that as my inspiration and motivation.
I adore phrases such "we had the world at our feet".
No wonder I adore being barefooted: be sensitive and aware of the energy of mother earth
and everything around us. Too many folks shut off their inputs and senses
of the wonders and beauty still around us.
