When his "hair" gets wet and falls down, you might see his head crest that's usually hidden underneath it. Also: yes, Azhdarchid arms are weird, that's all supposed to look like that.

This setting is unusual for the anthro version of him though. In his world, there's mostly no rain and no intact forests, but if I want to draw the OCs from that fantasy world in a setting that's not in said world, I take some creative liberties!
Also, who knows, maybe their barren wasteland world will one day be healthy and alive again, with lots of fresh rain....
