A setting from the story I have in mind


My character, the Ringmaster, and his cat Flare are roaming through the old forest that once was lively, colourful and full of fresh air, wich is now dead and gray.

He saw it when its plants were thriving and the long forgotten glowing flowers were blooming all around, and in his freetime, he occasionally wanders through it to look out for possible new and interesting stuff (there might be new plants growing out of the dead soil somewhere, he found some small ones before) ... and to watch the only creatures that are there - wolf-like monsters lurking in the mist and dark for potential prey, wich are always hungry.
Those can not really hurt him, but the ones he is responsible for - his circus staff - and perhaps some people he genuinly like, so he keeps an eye on them.

I am very happy with this painting. And again the completely spontaneous ideas and artworks are some of the best. I just started painting and this turned out to well. I love this!
