The thought crossed my mind of putting glasses on Kathy, but I decided against it because she's already got the goth heavy eye makeup.

Ah, yes. The eye makeup would probably clash rather badly with glasses unless they were rimless. But if they were, I guess there wouldn't be much point to putting them on her. I'd actually thought that the skin/scales around her eyes was naturally darker, kind of like a red-eared turtle, except... eyes. Heh. >.>

Oh! Maybe half-rimmed glasses would look better on Holly? Some styles just suit some people better.

Well, the green areas over Kathy's eyes are part of her skin coloring, but the black eye-liner is just goth makeup.

Half-rimmed glasses might be an idea. I gotta check to see if I have any pre-made, otherwise I can try chopping off part of the frame which shouldn't be that hard, either.

The main reason I reply to everybody who favs pics in my dA gallery is to make sure they understand who the artists are and where the characters come from, because I've gotten too many "Good job!" comments.

Scratch that. Just did a quick comparison with her last pic. It's about the same size. It only looks bigger in this pic cuz of the zoomed in view and possibly the angle.

well, it's not so important if i like it so much as if you like it, but i will say those are probably the wrong shape of glasses for the facial structure here.

I know that ultimately I'm the one that has to like it. I just wanted to see other people's opinions, which may not have been entirely helpful so far, but have been interesting to see from a psychology standpoint.

I've got other kinds of glasses I could try. These just happened to already be in a color that matched the outfit, so I tried them first.

i wouldn't have thought "helpful" might apply to this place. moreso with you trying to get them to look at her face, we both know that's not the focal point by their views.
