After being forced into Cryo and launched Faster Than Light into space as part of his forced exile. The leaders his homeworld expected him to die either from being Cryo-stored, shock from deceleration from FTL, or perhaps crashing into something that would destroy the craft he's on. They wanted him gone and Forgotten.

The Result was he ended up drifting in an unknown Star system in a backwater cluster of the galaxy, an unknown amount of time had passed. Now the ship's systems have started to fail causing whole compartments to give out. Soon even power to the Cryosleep systems are routed away in favor of structural integrity.

After such an indeterminant time asleep.
