As eluded to some time ago, I am expanding my negotiation options to include Magic The Flippin' Gathering. Here's why; We all need something to stay busy with, and this was a large passion of mine for many, many years. As some of you folks that have followed me for a while know, I was convinced to sell the entirety of my collection, as well as sealed product. ...Hindsight is 20/20. I regret doing so, and there is only one way to fix that issue; get right back into the field. While I am attempting to find playgroups near me, I am still highly interested in 'investing' in this so called cardboard crack once again.
So here we go with the true nuts and bolts of what I am seeking, and what sort of exchanges I am willing to do~
ITEMS OF INTEREST
In order of desire and negotiation value:
1. Vintage/Reserved List - I am not expecting power nine, nor absolute high quality, but the playable relics of old day's past are highly welcomed. Graded, loose, heavily played or amazing condition.
2. Sealed Product - Booster Boxes, Set Boxes, Draft Boxes, and generally most factory fresh product.
3. Liquid Singles - Modern hits, fetch lands, general solid staples that all formats appreciate.
4. Entire Collections - Until my housing situation improves, I am skeptical of taking in massive collections, yet if there is a number of old and incredible hits from the above... I may be tempted to negotiate. Down the road, once I have certainty in the securing of my belongings (or at least having more of), I will be open to offering on the entirety of one's treasures.
When it comes to offering rates, I will be much more flexible in offers involving gemstones. I am open to making cash transactions on very select MtG bits, but in most cases I will need to offer a good margin under market pricing. However, when it comes to trades or cash ins for shiny stones, such rates will be dramatically more lenient.
A side note, after getting back into the wonderful world of MtG, I will be reopening the storefront in such again soon once I am more organized. Sealed boxes, commander precons, perhaps a number of singles, as well as accessories such as sleeves. A part of me is also curious to know... may any of you lovely folks be in the mid western Florida area, and interested in doing some drafts, casual play, or recording/streaming some games? Let me know~

Might be willing to pay a premium if you kept some of the intense bangers super-mint. Hoping to end up with a PSA 10 or 9.5 Mind Over Matter, Tolarian Academy, and Time Spiral. Huge huge huge desire for minty Mind Over Matters. It may be that very card that eh.. kinda helped restore this old passion, as well as an obvious, famous sentiment to have in life as a whole. :B

Alas none of my cards are in PSA 9.5 - 10. I would put them around NM, LP with a few in MP and like 1-2 maybe 3 in HP quality. Only things I've kept in really high NM quality would be later pulls that I haven't added to the list. Surprisingly I only have 1 card from Time Spiral and it's Terramorphic Expanse.

Just needing enough cash to get by (and save up for a car as well as medical insurance), and the majority of my expendable income is already destined to be put towards thingies I have faith in investing in. :B

I actually originally started in 9th Edition. Continued to play for about 4 years, during which my mom bought me a couple lbs (Literal boxes from ebay of 1lb each) of cards, along with was gifted 3 or 4 decks that were around BEFORE I even started. I REALLY need to build an index of my cards.. I only have a few of the newer sets, most of them are old, and fairly good condition. I'm over at the opposite corner of the country from you, but I'd be glad to stream/play!
HMM I have TONS of magic cards I've been thinking about offloading, literally thousands. I have a binder for each color, multicolored, artifacts, lands, and planeswalkers. All rares. Have been wanting to go through and take out a couple things I often use in EDH and try to offload them to a shop but I'd have to ship it out since none are near me.
I'll be honest all the super high value stuff is in decks, shocks fetches masterpieces expeditions etc, but there's still a lot of stuff I am not using. I don't use a lot of white or black, I'm an Izzet player through and through uwu

Quite curious to get a sneak peak sometime and dibs should you opt to downsize. Rebuilding from scratch but I will likely be running it as more of a secondary business than a game to play. x3
Would love to get some more games under my belt, buuuut... only time will tell. Hoping to diversify enough to end up with a spare $10k to toss into some bonds after a few years. I have Rudy to both thank and blame. :B

xD Tell me about it. Went wide in a lot of card games back then... but hey! Ya know... We opened them.. To play them! ..on sidewalks. Outside. And spilled drinks on them. And maybe even did horribly naughty things with them.

Started around... Odyssey and Invasion. Got real into the game during Ravnica.. Jesus christ different times looking back, but then again, that is 20 years. xD
