Commission for hobbestiger.bsky.social based on his Land After Man story (set after mankind has gone extinct with evolved animals) with his optimistic gerenuk character Liesl who's fascinated in humanity (she's dressed like Mr Rogers as she saw him as some kind of deity when hearing about him ❤️ ) riding her stoic, deadpan tapir-esque horse-like mount Sampson (like most other animals he doesn't believe her stories, but he goes along with it to humour her) through an abandoned derelict city. 🌆👀

I drew inspiration from The Last of Us and A Quiet Place for the setting :)
I gave special thanks to my customer for the opportunity to work on this commission as this is one of my favourite art pieces I've worked on to date and I love how the detail all came out. 😊
