Oh, it was the late '70s. Or was it the early '80s? Anyway we were on our second leg of our surface transportation only trip to the Arctic Circle. My friend snapped this picture of me in the left hand seat of the Dutch TEE trainset they were using on the Northlander at the time. The crew was so friendly when the conductor spotted us with cameras, he insisted we ride in the cab whenever we wanted.
