Apparently at some point of my life I drew punk foxes drawing skulls on the sidewalk. It was probably 1990 or '91 'cause I had a couple of experiences as a street artist, one of my attempts to flee and be the farthest possible away from home. SPOILER: I failed and had to be my crazy parents caregiver for the next uh, almost 30 years but it's ok now, I had some sort of good ending.
Jesus Christ I'm so happy we had no Internet back then.
Still, punk foxes. Damn, it's so embarassing but also sort of fun.

I wish I had access to furry back then. Had no Internet access by 1990 (honestly I don't even think I knew the Internet existed, and my eventual graduate alma mater was one of the early hubs for it in the 1960s!). Kinda jealous of the folks that got in to the fandom early! It would be another 8-9 years before I became aware of the fandom in the end.
Yep, same. I didn't go to university, and even those that went there, as long as they didn't graduate in some informatics, hadn't easy access to the web. The first time i saw a furry pic was a couple of years before getting an home connection, it was a Stasis Delirium's pic the master of a Vampire, the Jihad campaign had printed as a sample for one of the vamp races, a kind of wolf shapeshifter. I was AMAZED when i found that pic on the web some years after.
Whoa that is super, super cool! And I was lucky in that my high school got an internet connection in about 1995/96 so I had a school e-mail address for a little bit. Still didn't have a taste of home Internet till about 1998/99 though. Had to do most of my Internet at school to start.
I went with a friend to an art opening. She wasn't the main or even the most famous artist but she ended up selling more paintings and drawings than anyone else. On the way back to her car we passed a sidewalk chalk artist. I knew better than to try and drag her away...
