The live feed from various media outlets switched without warning flooding television and online sources with a chilling image. The infamous terrorist leader standing before a banner demanding surrender of world governments within 24 hours or face the consequences. As a means of backing up the declaration with a threat, the live feed cut to a water treatment plant where the workers suddenly began reacting in pain and terror, the life giving water turned to a toxic substance, throwing off poisoned fumes.
"Thissss compound is now in all major water sourcesss around the globe. Ssssurender to me, raissse our flag and be ssspared. I await your responssss. HAIL COBRA!"
With that the feed cut and a flood of bot driven emails and video posts spread virally across social media.

The latest in my series of nostalgic fiction character portraits. This time around it's the scaled despot himself: Cobra Commander with yet another convoluted plot for world domination.... that said now I feel like Destro giving criticism from the sidelines.

its only a 5 issue miniseries and its very recent (Its being followed with a Destro series that is currently only at 2/5 issues. And on the Joe side of things they did a Duke series and the Scarlet one is ongoing and it all ties into the ongoing Transformers series.)
And no, I think that was a different one. So far this run is extremely faithful to all the characters original designs.
