Looks like the lion'd have a bit of a tough time finding a mate. /off-topic
The more black in a lion's mane, the more attractive he is in the eyes of the females. More brown, less attractive.
It's almost funny because of the heat the black takes in. So basically they have to hide away all day (not that they don't already do that...lol) from the sun.
