It's almost by design. Big muscular rhinos from male subjects could easily overthrow the Duke should they decide to flex their strength, so they play it safe ensuring that female subjects are more common starters... however, females are predisposed to a much bigger fat to muscle ratio. They can still swing an axe, but aren't gonna be planning a mutiny any time soon, which would put at grave risk their canteen access!
Hmm... Primarily only takes female captives to make into guards for the added muscle, while also making sure they aren't the most fit to rebel against them?
Interesting... Best hope this Duke plans to keep it that way, and avoid taking and transforming any males if they can help it... Unless, they find a way to make the men just as fat as the women, that is...! XP
