Yeah, I know, I know. I'd love to. But after 50K on a new kitchen, it won't be for a while. It would have to be in the Midwest to even tempt me.

There are plenty now to go to. The furry awakening has given us more but smaller events. In all honesty, I truly miss the closeness of the smaller gatherings. If I hadn't had Gloria's scooter, I would have been down for the count. I was told our attendance this year was 7200. Last year was just over 5000.

And as to the cost of living - yeah, I feel that too.

7200 attendees? Yeow. Too many people for me. I'm not one for crowds anymore. Yeah, I know they're not there all at once. but still.... and I know the "crowd factor" depends on the size of the venue. I know the Boss Lady couldn't take it. She can't walk around the outside of the house by herself. A 100ft paved drive is no sweat but the lawn is another thing altogether. And I'm getting less stable on uneven terrain also. I'm learning that getting old is not for the faint of heart. LOL
