Hello everyone, it's been some time. After the start of the last Insectember, I unfortunately ended up entering a mental block that lasted for several months in which I could not finish anything I had started. I aim now to try and make up for it with a second attempt at Insectember. So I hope you enjoy!

The Paddle-legged Beauty Mosquito is is species of mosquito that lives in the Neotropics, from Mexico to Argentina. It's one of the few known mosquito species that actually engages in a courtship ritual. The female use the feathery elongated scales on their legs to attract males, and the male performs a rhythmic swinging dance to win her favour.
