Let's kick off this Snektember by saying hello to my new genie/djinn/efreet OC, Sharqiyya! Although she isn't a lamia, she can shapeshift into one, so it counts, right? XD

Also beware, for she isn't your typical genie in a lamp... in fact, she is arguably worse, having the near limitless powers of a genie but none of the bindings! She can ignore you and your wishes. Or she can promise you riches, power, pleasure... only to relish on your despair when she takes it all away from you!
Thankfully she is usually more interested in travelling around the world and collecting jewellery than following and vexing people for fun...

Being such a powerful and free spirit, that naturally makes her proud, capricious and vain, especially towards mortals (or actually, any being deemed "inferior"). Her personality and mood swings are easily reflected by her many forms: while her "true" form is a literal puff of magic smoke, being incorporeal eventually gets boring when you can't interact much with anything... so most of the time she takes on a tangible form that fits her current mood or situation.
However, despite her formidable powers, she has one major weakness (which she will never admit, of course!); can you guess what it is?
