In hindsight I still feel like Pinky could've been something else, since there's other characters that would fit as a dog better, and I'd like to avoid excess. It came out this way as the quickest connection, hunting dogs tend to have their fancy inbred counterparts so that's where my mind immediately went. I remember a line of dialogue about her cousin having webbed feet, so I may try her as that one type of either really fucked up Pidgeon or chicken.
I was second guessing Beatrice here too but she has the scabs so she's just fine as a mouse :>
