I’m actually really digging the dual colour palette with the black and purple. Plus the overall “flowy” design, with all the smoke like limbs and features.

Glad to hear it! He originated as me asking if the artist would be willing to design a 'Dark Sun' after she did a Solar System Personification Set! I asked for her to make him vaguely a flowing darkness compared to her Sol and gave requests as she went, so he's a collaborative design between her and me c:

Besides me asking for a dark/black base, though, Undeadkitty actually did all the color design - she's primo.

As stated in another thing, the idea is that he's an 'Entropy Elemental' // Anti-Divine entity!

Ectoplasm or an energy like form?

Closer to Ectoplasm - he's mostly 'physical' and is an 'Entropy Elemental' in at least his original writeup as a final boss for a PF1E campaign I ran.

Any thoughts on his design?

Makes me think of a genie imprisoned to empower something. But this time it has been stuffed into a magitek device and have become -very- tainted from the experience.
