Aren't the arm joints and the armpit lines too well defined for a characther that is supposed to be coated with fur?

Supposedly, the fur would soften those lines or even hide them from sight completely. I drew a similar pic a while ago and then used jagged lines to represent fur near the arm joints, check http://www.furaffinity.net/view/573694/ to see what I mean.

It looks kinda as if the only fur on the character was on its belly and the rest of the body was shaved.

Overall most of the proportions in this picture are a bit off, I still don't have enough practice on drawing bodies.

Well, there were reasons why this stayed a lineart ;)
