The date was February 2019. The place was Main Street U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom in Orlando, FL. At long last, I got to meet the stars of Zootopia — Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps. And it was a truly magical experience.
There is no better feeling than getting the chance to meet and hug your favorite characters. And boy, was I ever lucky to have experienced it when I did. Zootopia is more than just a movie to me. It changed my life for the better with its profound themes of following your dreams, defying the odds, and how the unlikeliest of friendships can always be possible through deep understanding. The main characters are extremely likeable and witty, plus the entire city itself is incredible, creative, and immersive. This movie was also the awakening that brought me into the furry fandom (like many others). And of course, I'm thrilled about the upcoming sequel in 2025.
As for this meet and greet, it was wonderful. Nick and Judy are simple adorable! They're both funny and charming with their body language, especially when they start dancing (during the Dapper Dans' performance on Main Street, LOL). I would also love the opportunity to meet them again, maybe sometime after "Better Zoogether" opens at Animal Kingdom. They're also available for meet and greets at Disneyland California Adventure.

It was during a brief period when Disney promoted “Long Lost Friends” back in the winter of 2019. I don’t think they’ve been seen at Magic Kingdom since.
But once the new Zootopia attraction opens at Animal Kingdom next year, they’ll likely bring them back over there. *knock on wood*
