Vox is a big fan of one of the simplest predatory tricks. 'Bring me your friends and I'll let you go'. With the prey's scent and address, it's not difficult to extort cooperation, and the ending's always worth it. The prey runs out of friends, the predator announces they're still hungry, and the last prey is betrayed just like they betrayed their friends. It's a feast and a lovely chance for some predatory showmanship!

But this strange Ankou mouse has thrown Vox for a loop. They were downright gleeful to feed him everyone they know, and they've taken it upon themselves to snuggle themselves to that belly and adore its work! They're asking how else they can help and who else they can lure in for the greedy taur.

This is usually the part where Vox gobbles this silly prey up...but this little rodent is just so agreeable. He's right, his friends -are- better as part of Vox. And he's right, he does make a lovely little cushion to lay on.

This could be the start of a wonderful relationship. A terrible one for everyone else.
