Gyako and Erilia woke up groggy after a very difficult night's sleep. They both stumbled downstairs into the kitchen where the innkeeper had made them breakfast. She was nowhere to be seen however, though there was a note on the table that said she had gone to the market.
Gyako and Erilia sat down and timmidly ate the now day old bread that had been left for them. As he ate Gyako pondered his next move. No doubt that he was going to the adventure guild but what was he going to do about Erilia. He could not just leave her alone and without Taiyka around, there was no one else she really trusted.

"Erilia?" Gyako looked at her.

"Mmmm?" Erilia looked up from her plate with a slice of bread in her mouth.

"How would you like to come to the adventure guild with me? I'll see if you stay there with me if they allow it. But if they don't, promise me you will come back here and have this lady take care of you."

"Are you going to leave me?" Erilia asked.

"No, I... uhh..." Gyako tried to choose his words carefully, " I'll make sure I visit you often and if Taiyka gets out of her house I'll have her pick you up."
Erilia paused, thinking this whole deal over.

"Promise?"

"I promise"

After breakfast, the two cats made their way to the adventure guild. The town was once again busy with cats cleaning up any mess from last night's storm. However, everyone was getting on with last-minute preparations for the festival. The guild was not far from the inn, only a few blocks. It was a quite large wooden building with a red roof surrounded by a couple of trees that seemed well taken care of. A large sign read "Treasures and Adventures" above some red swinging doors.

Gyako carefully swung them open and was greeted with a large hallway. The room was very open with corridors above them where it seemed there would be rooms. There were a couple of other dragon cats that were mingling with each other as well as some other animals he had never interacted with. Squirrels, some mini foxes and even a wolf or two. It was quite a diverse place.

One of the cats noticed that and came over with a welcoming smile.

"Welcome to Treasures and Adventures, are you looking to just this organization?"

"Um yes, yes please, we'd like to join," Gyako replied.

"Ok then head up the stairs to your right and go down the corridor. The Master's office is at the end."

"Alright thanks, " Gyako responded graciously," Wait, will this be a problem?" Gyako pointed at Erilia.

The other car looked puzzled at the kitten.

"Ummm not sure, I think you should be ok. The Master is very accommodating."

"Ok thanks for your help," Gyako said and proceeded with Erilia up the stairs to the guild master's office. The other members watched them as they did, which made Gyako feel a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully, he will be able to join while also finding a place for Erilia.
