this just seems so counter intuitive to everything i've seen,
but i'm looking all over your pic here and not finding the mites shown in your roach pics
surely if you had them they would be jammed right in between those scales
i think this is pretty compelling evidence for your claim that the mites are too highly specialized to cause harm
color me convinced!
