Yeah fan work for the Evangelion series....I've seen trailers for the new movies and yes I am interested (though I never finished watching the original). I'm not up to date this anime so bare with me..

Pilot report...
Pilot Eve Bishop, age 16. She shows excellent analytical ability and above average martial skills at peek performance. After her failure to act in a past encounter that cost the life of an Eva unit and it's pilot it was thought she would be terminated from the Eva program. Instead she volunteered for a new process called the spinal tap link. This new piloting system allows a data cable to connect directly to the spine and intercept the natural signals of the brain and use them to pilot an Eva rather then using physical controls. While the process is not perfected pilot Bishop underwent the process and is fully capable of using the spinal tap system, however as a side effect she has lost the use of both legs. Pilot has been known to undergo mood/personality changes while piloting the Eva and even speaks to it as if holding a conversation. She has nicknamed her Eva 'Azazel'. Eve currently shows a blind following to orders and the chain of command never questioning an order.
