Went to Death Valley again Friday night to camp and got back this afternoon. It was windy, unfortunately, so I missed a lot of shots while fumbling around trying to keep the sand from getting EVERYWHERE. You can see the sand just blowing from the lips of those dunes in this picture. It's starting to get too hot down there now, so this will probably be the last time I go down until the fall.

I REALLY like the B/W version of this picture as well. I try to put only my best-best stuff on my more professional art accounts online, so I'll be asking for everyones opinion on whether this or the B/W version is better.

What I did: 4 shot custom HDR (+1, 0, -1, -4 EV) in Photomatix, fixed a couple footprints, dropped the saturation a tad, upped the contrast a tad, and unsharp mask (300%, 0.2, 0).
