I slumped myself onto the couch with a scowl on my face.

Dexter: "Is... Something wrong?" My brother asked.

Bax: "No... I as a terrifying wolf monster have thicker skin then you'd think!" I said defensively.

Dexter: "Right..." He said with a cynical glare.

Bax: "Well... Maybe... Cam doesn't know when to quit..." I said skirting around the issue.

Dexter: "Cameron teased you about not being scary didn't they?" He guessed.

Bax: "..." I didn't want to answer.

Dexter: "Look..."

He put a hand on my shoulder.
I looked over to him looking him in the eyes.

"Baxter, you are plenty scary. Its just that Cameron isn't an easily scarred person." He said in a comforting tone.

Bax: "I know..." I said trailing off.

Dexter: "Then whats the problem?" He asked.

The room fell silent as I struggled for an answer.
