The K'ossovo are tall and sinewy parasitic organisms. They are known for trading space travel secrets and spare parts in return for food. (Preferably Aiiden, the race in the cage.) They're primitive scrappers and pirates that will change allegiance in the blink of an eye.
WELL MATT WHY ARE THEY PARASITES???
*ahem*
K'ossovo are parasites that have a very unique way of gaining nutrients. In their hands, buried right under the skin are hundreds of organs that produce a digestive enzyme. These enzymes are genetically keyed to strip the protein and lipid layer off of a cell membrane and absorb it. The hands are rubbery and resistant to this corrosive cocktail. These enzymes leave the host's skin gooey and thus easier to slide down whole when the K'ossovo decides to eat. K'ossovo only live for about 4-5 years, but they reproduce so rapidly it offsets their low life expectancy. (Also who wants these horrible beasts living a long time eh?) They have a very strong pseudo venom saliva thats laced with microbes that induce paralysis. This is why a K'ossovo's jaw will often "lock up" and hang open. This venom is used to paralyze the host (with a bite) and either feed or deposit eggs which are lain in the open wounds of the protein/ lipid layer absorption. Nasty stuff :0
