Because Blood Bowl season is starting, and taking to the field once more are the Norseland Vikings. They may have only won 3 of the 12 games they played last season, but topped the scoreboards when it came to injuring other players, chalking up an impressive 14 opposing players taken out of action, more than any other team in the league. And it looks like they'll be attempting to beat that record this season.

gameplay is similar to other GW skirmish based games. its fantasy grid iron basically. 8 turns per half, 2 halfs. get the ball to the other end.
i find it incredibly fun and humourous. unlike 40k and fantasy, you rarely laugh when units start dying. but when players get hurt, knocked out or die, its very funny.

*chuckles8 well a bunch of angry drunk norsemen are really gonna mess someone up. though i still think the weirdest Death i saw was a troll picked up a goblin in a goblin unit threw it as hard as it could((literally)). and the goblin ended up piercing straight through the other players prize quarter back. killed both of them instantly. o.o how in the world would that happen!
