Another Character from Pokemon cannon as a Pokemon Pirate. I would have gone with Archie the Leader of Team Aqua who are already very Pirate themed, but then I would have had to make him his signature pokemon Sharpedo...and I don't know how to put an outfit on a Sharpedo...So I decided to go with my'boy Guzma!

Guzma is of my personal favorite Evil Team Leaders just by sheer force of personality. It's implied via post-game dialogue that he was abused by his father and beaten with Golf clubs as a kid, became possibly the strongest Bug Type Trainer in Pokemon through willpower, brought together a bunch of idiots and somehow managed to take over an entire town together, and then even after disbanding Team Skull at the end of the game, the Team still wanted to stick with him. He also has a seriously funny line like after you follow him and Lusamine into Ultraspace he is baffled why you would even want to be there and says "Y'all are Stupid." after he himself tried to tackle an Alien Jellyfish!

Team Skull themselves may be a bunch of wannabe Gangster idiots, but I find them very endearing. They also fit perfectly with the theme that a lot of pirates were outcasts of society, so they made their own place to belong together, and the Skull theme also fits with the Pirate's Jolly Roger.
