Igor IMO is one of the best cartoon characters in TV history. I love hoe you went for kind of a dank and dusty kind of look for the picture too.....it really suits his character.

I definitely got to agree with you there that you're onto something. I mean come on, he's the only character I've ever been assed to do fanart for lol. Thanks, though! definitely couldn't have accomplished it without your hand redlines too, so thanks a bunch for those.

It's so nice to see I'm not alone in this thought. I've always really loved Igor's character. To me, he always seemed a lot more complex & developed compared to the rest of the cast. Not to mention I loved all the dark humor they managed to surround him with.

Anyway, sorry for the fan flail. It's just rare I come across anyone who's even heard of this show let alone likes the characters :3

Oh you are definitely not alone in that....infact I firmly believe that Count Duckula was by far the best cartoon that the 80's had to offer and one of my all time favourites.....so much so that it's one of my biggest stylistic influences. I could talk to you all day about it but I have no desire to bore you.

Bore me? OMG no that is so impossible. XD I'm such a huge closet nerd for this show. This is probably the most thrilling thing I've heard all week. <3 And I honestly couldn't agree more with it being one of the best shows of the 80's. IMO, not enough people recognize just how creative & intelligent it was for it's time. Even now it's still a major influence for me.

Actually I have seen some of you stuff back on DA when I searched Count Duckula......While I've yet to do any full on fanart of Duckula myself I did do this quick drawing of Gaston and Pierre http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5756849 and have had some desire to do something more impressive....while I don't wanna become stuck to be known for drawing strictly fanart for I single fandom, I do however think that I should do as least one major piece to show my respects for the show and the influence it's had on my own work. I might have to do that some time this year. I mean many people have a good list for cartoon greats but it's a royal shame that Count Duckula's wit and creativity was so over look in a decade so starved for quality TV animation.

Thanks, seeing how into the show you are I thought it seemed that it's something that you would appreciate. I've been planning to do a pic since last year but for what ever reason never got round to doing it. However I stuff has improves since last year and my ability to draw backgrounds has also made some further advancements recently so I think it might be more upto the task now. I actually might start work on it sooner rather then later.
