Today marks the 30th Anniversary of 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐚𝐠𝐞, a personal favorite fighting game of mine 🦖🦍🔥

If there was ever a game that DESPERATELY needs an official HD remake, it's this game. It's a great game with a simple premise; A massive meteor strike has devastated Earth. Human civilization comes to an end in the ensuing cataclysms and humanity regresses into tribes of Stone Age dwellers. A primordial rainforest covers the land and the continental landmass has shifted into the shape of a fire-breathing dinosaur skull. The planet is now primitively referred to as "Urth" by the survivors of the cataclysms.

Seven fearsome creatures with supernatural abilities emerge from their slumber deep within the Urth's crust, and become worshiped as gods by the humans, who form segregated clans beneath the ones they follow. The beasts themselves are divided between those who wish to keep peace on Urth, and those who attempt to plunge the world into further chaos for their own benefit.

The seven playable characters are known as gods and fall into the allignment of Good / Evil...

Armadon - God of Life
Blizzard - God of Good and Virtue
Chaos - God of Decay
Diablo - God of Evil
Sauron - God of Hunger
Talon - God of Survival
Vertigo - Goddess of Insanity

Another notable thing about the game is its mechanics, rather than doing a directional motion and then hitting any attack buttons, you actually hold a number of the attack buttons and do the directional motion. The same applies to the combo system where you can hit one attack button and then two more in unison after the first hit, as well as adding certain moves that the characters have to deliver more damage dealing hits.

For the pic itself, I went with Diablo, mainly 'cuz I wanted to unleash that "Evil Side" of me and I do love me some T-Rex's (which dates back to the Land Before Time films and The Terrible Thunderlizards).
