Alrighty! Here's the next Anthro Gang Cycle celebration! Yeah, it's beyond late as August 8th has already passed, but at least I got the drawing made and ready to be shown. Here we have Ashleigh Selena Drennan, known professionally as Selena Drex, manager of the Nightriders and the love interest of Axl Reigns, the heavy metal rock star and lead guitarist and vocalist of the band. She is a well-mannered gal both in business and in her personal life, but does have a fiery disposition, which is rather fitting for someone born under the Leo sign, since August 8th is her birthday, and it shows whenever the situation calls for it, whether it be a rock concert on joining her beau Axl on his many adventures. Both she and Axl are happily married with a son they named Axl Junior.

Selena's full name outside of her professional name is something I thought up and it was inspired by Ringo Starr of The Beatles fame whose real name is Richard Starkey, and I hope that this will be an idea Axl approves and applies to the lore of his series as I think it fits her very well. Footnote: Selena's mother was the singer-songwriter Abby Lee Osbourne, the daughter of psychedelic rock legend Jim Osbourne (a combination of the two famous musicians Jim Morrison, aka "The Lizard King," of The Doors and Black Sabbath's Ozzy Osbourne), and she at one point was briefly married to the Kremling Krew's General Klump while Selena was in her early teens. Talk about a pedigree and connection, don't you think?
