Im so excited to show yall this eye-burning brightly colored Lion King styled abomination of a cartoon
Little back story- feel free to skip- I have had an art block for 10 years. I used to draw almost every day, from pre school to early college. I had hundreds of submissions on DeviantArt. But depression hit me hard in my early 20s.
My depression was so severe, I couldnt draw for fun anymore. I only drew portraits and graphic designs to pay the bills. If I ever tried drawing as a hobby, it was too painful because I was so numb, and my doodles wouldnt last longer than minutes. Before, I would draw for hours happily, and the comparison was heart breaking.
Last year I started talking to
again. I knew her in highschool and whatever. She's an artist and we did the whole lesbian Uhaul thing. We'd sit together and draw for hours, and I started to feel the spark again. The passion, the joy, I literally hadnt felt in decades. Its cheesy and Im tearing up typing this but I never thought Id be the same again. Being with her has helped me break through my art block, so now ill be spamming yall with Lion King/disney styled art like I used to.
tl;dr - Am no longer depressed so now I draw for fun after 10 years yay
