Originally uploaded to DA on June 22, 2021The Etorumanjai is the amphibious Kasurian species in my pet-project RPG/Management Sim that I'm making. Basically, they're anthro creatures with soul powers and live in little tribes they call "muvas."
Etorumanjai excel in the magic of the Toxic element, and while initially very hostile and primitive, are very close to each other and loyal to a fault. They're the most religious out of all kasuri. That doesn't at all mean they're horrible! While an Etorumanjai may initially seem hostile, once you get to know them, they're the kindest and bravest of all the species.
Two down, seven to go! And then the sprites. And their facial expressions. And their weapons. For all 8 directions. Wow, I did not really understand how big of a project I was getting into when I started this after reading an unfinished comic and being inspired by it. The project itself being a Isometric RPG/Management Simulator called Kasuri in which you must keep your tribe thriving and happy, build relationships with others, and go on adventures to fight the blight (and maybe bump into a hooman or two, but not that one. He looks like someone who abuses his warehouse workers, but still looks good without any hair).
One of my first attempts at amphibians went really well.
