Treading the Path of the Dire Wolf
Wanted to share something I made just before the site went down a couple of days ago. I've painted a dire wolf stalking an elven maiden as she rides on horse back down the forest path.
The dire wolf brings winter and frost glistens at his feet,
The elven maid is summer, sun's golden glow, warm steady heat.
The wolf lurks in shadows, just out of sight,
The elven lady's hope, the fast fading light.
