So I wanted to give Jace something new and a little different. I was hangin with some furs at our local meet and :heartagram: was drawing new foo-dog fursonas for herself and :fennecboi:. This gave me the idea for a mythical form for Jace.
This is Jace as an Inugami, a mythical Japanese dog spirit. Legends say that these were typically created by people who bury their dogs up tot he neck and then surround them with food just out of their reach. They then allow the dog to starve to death. They then make a food offering tot he spirit so it would become loyal. They typically turned on their masters, however.
So this form of Jace is purely spiritual. I based the markings off of kabuki theater paint. The tail is an artistic trend for ink paintings. And The whisps are also usual artistic representation for spirits.
It's still a work in progress and I've been trying to decide just how all the tattoos work and what exactly the design on the haori (jacket) should be. But I am really enjoying myself. Any suggestions would be fun and appreciated.
