G1 Transformers Collection #3
The last time I did a collection pic of my G1 Transformers, I didn't have NEARLY as much as you see here. But I've gotten many more figures since that time, as well as worked on completing newer figures.
Here they all are from left to right:
Bumblebee (Vintage G1) - My second newest figure, Ebay buy. One of my favorites and my collection feels more complete with him in it.
Prowl (Commemorative Series) - Gift from
RamboJoe446. missing his shoulder missile launchers, but is in the best condition of my used G1 toys.
Ratchet (Original G1) - Gift from
RamboJoe446. Had to replace all his decals as some were ratty and others were missing. Still missing all his accessories, but still a fun little novelty.
Optimus Prime (Original G1) - Gift from
RamboJoe446. Got him as just the cab and with missing/ratty decals. I've since replaced them, acquired one of his guns, and had new hands 3D printed for him, courtesy of
Tesla51.
Loco Squad/Commander/Ironhorse (Non-TF) - The odd one out as he isn't an official Transformers figure. Though he felt enough like a G1 figure in design and appearance for me to want the set. I put some autobot insignias on the 3 engines that make up the robot, gave him a pistol modified from a broken G1 rifle and have named him "Ironhorse", I'll post a tech spec for him soon.
Brawn (Original G1) - Gift from
RamboJoe446. His left arm was broken which I tried to fix. I finally did, though both arms are now glued to the inside of his car doors to keep his ability to transform. A nice figure but I'm wanting to get one in better condition.
Smokescreen (Commemorative) - Gift from
RamboJoe446. MY first figure. I got him w/o any of his accessories, and with almost all his decals missing. I went through the effort of getting all those things to complete him. Great figure.
Swindle (Original G1) - found him by a donation bin near a grocery store among a pile/scatter of other random toys. Got both his guns, but his decals are ratty and need replacing.
Astrotrain (Vintage G1) - got for my 21st Bday, fun figure but not much to say about him.
Laserbeak (Retro G1) - Newest buy along with Soundwave and Ravage.
Ravage (Retro G1) - Newest buy along with Soundwave and Laserbeak.
Starscream (Retro G1) - buy from last year, fun figure with a lovely jet mode. Want to get Thundercracker and Skywarp.
Soundwave (Retro G1) - Newest buy along with his tapes. A fun figure with a nice construction. This guy has aged like the world's finest wine.
Scavenger (Original G1) - Gift from
Tesla51. When I got him, he was in rough shape; loose joints, missing/worn decals, and no accessories. I've since fixed the loose joints, replaced all his decals, and given him his gun. He's still missing his other accessories though.
A VERY big thank you to
RamboJoe446 and
Tesla51 for finding some of these figures for me, you are both the best.
