So I showed the final result to my professors, and they gave me a few possible quick fixes that I could add to possibly improve the presentation even a little further. To that end, I removed the balloon entirely since it ended up cluttering up the scene more than it should have, changed the banana from a golden metal to a more natural yellow, and added a Z Depth pass to blur out the background subtly. That and a little blur on the second shot, and I think I can finally pry my OCD off of this and get on with my life >.>;
