There were a few times furries responded to this meme by drawing the wolf, with the implicit rebuttal of “haha I know us furries are cringe, but we are also self-aware, humble, and can take a joke”. Which still ended up throwing other people (usually quote unquote amateur artists) under the bus! Meanwhile the response drawings themselves were being forced to look strange because on paper this looks fine and art is reliant on creating visual illusions. Anybody that demands accuracy to reality has no other basis in criticizing art. They are never worth listening to, other than learning about where little fascist ideas about true realities propagate. BTW I’m petty and complain often,

i remember this meme and i remember watching a whole video on 'FURRIES: DO's and DONTS' like years ago that included this picture, which is silly, because it looks different on paper, and a lot of the mocking of this just didn't even match how it looked when most people drew snouts this way. i admire your kind of collagey pieces, i think they look really cool.
Very cathartic. I will repeat your title. It's fine who cares xD because we are on this earth for such limited time and some choose to insult the beauty that is creating. I've always hated those "This is the ONLY RIGHT WAY to draw this" image/video tutorials. Why must it be the only way? Art can make you feel free, art can make you feel sad and angry and happy.
Who cares if someone draws the snout like that? Who cares if it looks silly or wrong or isn't "accurate"? I really love this.

ppl who are like that fail to understand that sometimes... some people are genuinely really good and talented artists and they routinely ignore anatomy for the sake of stylization, like todd mcfarlane with spawn, or hell, a lot of the art from the super edgy rule-of-cool era of comics had spectacular art, yet highly stylized anatomy.
