After doing Captain Jack Sparrow I had to also do his former first mate turned rival Pirate Captain Hector Barbossa and Monkey Jack.

I realized that Honchkrow could have worked, especially given it comes with a big hat and Barboss has a thing for big Hats, but I decided to go with Kilowattrel for a very good reason! Kilowattrel is based on the Frigate Bird which alternative is known as the Pirate Bird. Despite being Sea Birds, Frigate Birds do not have waterproof feathers so they are very bad at catching fish themselves. Instead they use their large size to bully other birds and wait to steal the fish that they caught! They are a natural Pirate, and a perfect fit for the cunning and cruel Barbossa

Monkey Jack or just "Little Jack" in this case I decided to make a Grookey. Since they are both sentient then perhaps Little Jack is more of an adopted son than a pet...or something like that, Barbossa has doted on his monkey but also he can take a beating cause he's undead, like firing him out of a cannon.
