everyone is asleep, except you

I wasn't planning to make this a big work originally, and I only meant to fill this with color. But then I found an exceptionally interesting documentary to which I listened for a few hours while working on this until the end. I also tried to find some good brushes and experimented on the shadows a bit. Light and shadow work on a portrait with a dark background is a very fun process to me. I would say, it is my favorite!

I tried to make this work as much cozy as I could, not excluding fairy lights of course! When I find a good book to read, sometimes it's really hard to stop despite it being a late hour! There's so many ways you can make your night reading comfier! I usually bring a big mug of lemon tea, a few snacks (don't get the crumbs on the bed!!) and a good playlist to listen to.

I definitely love drawing my kitty in settings that are close to me!
