I'm going to wager that since souls are complete things in and of themselves, two souls cannot occupy the same space at the same time. Therefore, it would be reasonable to theorize that half of her soul, and half of Deko's, got blasted out of her back, chest and eyeballs. With both souls now..."taking up half the space" as it were, the remains of both can now "fit" in the remaining vessel.
If this is indeed the case, then only time will tell whether or not the two halves can exist on their own, must merge into a single whole, or some other unforeseen outcome.

As mentioned previously though, the body can be regenerated. This world operates on a lot of D&D 5e rules, so there's clerics available who can cast high-tier healing spells and restore Circe's body. The problem is the lack of spellcasting. For a sorceress, who's been using magic all her life as naturally as breathing, it's gotta be like losing one of your senses.
