So you know how Archie Sonic had Eggman having fail safes for his minions if they disobeyd them? Well I had an idea for a different concept.
Here's a little story for when this comic took place. This is Part 1 out of 10 of Fail Safe.

One night Dr. Eggman assigned Dr. Spiral to kidnap Blaze for testing a new fail safe idea he had and to help them destroy Sonic, after all why do it themselves when they have a few subjects they can kidnap?
Later that night Dr. Spiral saw Blaze alone as she smirks. She raised her hypno orb as it spins, glowing a hypnotic light staring an illusion.
"Ugh where's Silver? He said he'd be here by now."
Blaze sighed as she grew impatient, it's been an hour. Silver was a little late sometimes, but never this late.
"Oh Blaze, sorry I got side tracked."
Blaze saw Silver flying towards her as he stoped.
"Oh I'd say so Silver, you had me worried!" Where were you?"
"I had to fight Rough and Tumble, they were bothering some critters, sorry Blaze. Hey why don't we head back?"
Silver blushes.
"Oh that explains it. Sure let's go."
Blaze smiles as she calms down. She held his hand not knowing what she was getting into as she walked with him everything around her went dark as she fell into a deep sleep. Dr. Spiral uses a syrum to paralyze Blaze while she slept so she couldn't move her body nor feel it. Blaze could only look around as she wondered what happened that night.
Dr. Spiral enters the room and tells Blaze she'll explain everything tomorrow as she leaves her alone.
