So, this is an odd bit...
A while back, I ran into someone at a local SF con who was doing a lot of SF&F-themed embroidery work, including things like messenger bags with Game of Thrones crests on them. Unfortunately the "UnusualFrequency" store is currently on break due to having issues with recent changes in shipping handling from Etsy, the last post on the UnusualFrequenC Twitter account from a year ago mentions moving to BlueSky, and I can't seem to find anything there.
In any case, at one point the artist had this hand-made book for sale in the Ad Astra art show: the logo is the emblem of "The Cousins", a group from Ada Palmer's Terra Ignota series. Imagine a support group that runs traveller's hostels in the future, and expand them into a supernational organization that runs hospitals and the like all over the world. Their emblem is a pair of hands held in the shape of a dove.
I've had this book for a few years, but this year I finally decided to start using it as a sketchbook, with the theme of 'helping hands'. (I started using it now because, frankly, I was running into artists who had literally drawn in all of my other sketchbooks.) So as I start posting pics from this year's CanFurence, I'll be including this book in the list.
(My only real complaint with the book itself is that the cover is only fabric with no stiffening, so it crumples a bit. Might have to fix that at some point myself.)
