It's a question I'm often asked - "So Rex, what pics are you working on?"
The true answer to that question is LOTS.
I'm never working exclusively on one idea - all the time, I have numerous projects in the pipeline at varying stages of production. Essentially, what I choose to work on at any given time is dictated entirely by what mood I am in and the motivation I have for any given idea. In other words, my art is primarily governed by libido, and I only work on something if I'm up for it.
The consequence of that is that if I'm not in the mood for something, I don't work on it. As such, I might start working on an idea, and then not touch it again for months until such a time as I feel interested in it again. That can also be governed by whether said project has caused me problems or pissed me off in some way, as if it has, the likelihood of me wanting to work on it diminishes significantly.
Hence, behold - my Great Unfinished Collection.
What you see before you are a few sneak peeks at a whole bunch of stuff I'm working on - pictures and animations - ranging from early sketches to advanced colouring stages, some of which date back as far as 2009. I haven't included everything in here (for example, that damned First Time comic that I still get asked about and kinda wish I'd never started) but this goes some way to demonstrating just how much I do work on.
I like to keep my work a surprise wherever possible (and I don't want to get people's hopes up!) so I won't give away too much about anything shown here, though a lot of it is stuff I have spoken about before in various places. Everything that is here however is stuff that I'm currently intent on finishing, though as they are all works in progress, they could look significantly different by the time they are finished. In any case, hopefully all will be revealed in time.

I know your pain!
There is in fact more than what I've shown here, not to mention the overwhelming pool of ideas in my head that I've yet to get started on. But this is where the problem lies - the more pieces I start, the more I then have to try and get finished!
And no, I actually rarely show such sneak-peeks myself, largely cos I prefer to keep my work under wraps until the final unveiling. But I wanted to post this to make a point.

*chuckles* Oh gods, if you count the ideas in my head, I don't think I could finish them in a life time! It doesn't help either that I'm a very (very very) slow artist at getting those ideas out. :/ I agree - I prefer not to give people peeks, but in doing so I think you made your point very well. ^_^
Finish 'em! Finish 'em! *Gets worked up*
Some interesting previews there...the King Koopa, Brian Griffin and Stewie ones look interesting, as well as the Cassie one and the one in the top right where Mike is being smothered. I hope I see those ones finished!
Also, whose boot is that in the middle?

Ah, that one. It's one I've almost forgotten about because I started it over a year ago. Regretfully there's a lot of work to be done on it because certain portions of it are really badly drawn when I look at them now.
Still, just raises the suspense, I suppose!

Ugh, gosh. I would LOVE to finish this, but regretfully what you're seeing there could well be scrapped and started all over again because I HATE the way I've drawn much of that picture, even though it's at an advanced colouring stage. What's worse, I started it in November 2009...
But one can always hope!

Oh man, that one picture of Donkey is a must finish X3
by the looks of it, you drew him very well and I'm quite excited what that picture illustrates :D
Ask for all the others, very nice little thumbnails, I guess its a curse amongst many artists to have so many things wanting to finish, but can't find the motivation to finish what has been started D:

Aw, that's a shame... Rocky is my big crush(er) of your characters too! And that pic looks like it'd have been hawt! ;D
Still, I understand that sometimes artists just lose motivation for certain pics. :3
Anyway, I <3 a lot of the pics that you do release, so just keep drawing in general and it'll help keep me a happy kitty. ^^

It's difficult to say, really. There's a couple of pictures here that I've pretty much completely forgotten about, largely because there were BIG problems with them and they basically needed redrawing completely. I'm afraid that applies to both of the pictures you mention, as well as the TMNT one (bloody hell, that one's about 4 years old now). A lot of them are animations too, which I'm not sure I'll ever have the time to finish.
The problem is that I have new ideas coming into my head all the time, and invariably, I want to work on those instead - not something that I got annoyed with 3 years ago. Of the 10 remaining panels on this volume, there's only actually two that I'm particularly confident of doing/finishing sometime.

Ah, I understand completely. I can relate to how you feel, I have much the same problem with a lot of my art. The problem is that a big part of me wants to finish a lot of my older projects even though I have plenty of new and fresh ideas. Of course now since getting my new job time hasn't exactly been helping XD
Panels 6 and 8 - namely the two pencil sketches that haven't been ticked. Panel 6 hasn't gone beyond a few sketches, but Panel 8 is currently a fairly long and well-developed comic and I seriously need to get it finished before it gets forgotten about. I certainly wouldn't expect them before the end of 2013 though - both of them were started in 2010, so it's already been three years and I can't promise they'd be done within three months from now.
There are others that I may explore, but as I said to Nemesis_Storm, some of them are animations and I am very unlikely to have sufficient time to finish any of those.
