So this piece was suggested to me by my friend Luc. He said I should draw Koopie Koo, and I was more than happy to because she's my favorite official koopa troopa character. Here she seems to be locked up in a pair of wooden stocks, looking unimpressed with her predicament. Maybe because she was too careless, but more than likely Hooktail had a hand in this. Either way, she's gonna be stuck there till Koops finds her.
Also seems fitting to draw something related to one of my favorite games. I wanted to go with more of a flat color look since the Paper Mario style is pretty simple looking. I think it looks well. Might have to try it more often.
