This is a reference for the 'robotic' companion to my Lombax character :D

I made up a lot of the robot bits but I would love to have a 3D rig of this guy to animate along with my Lombax character, as I have some really cool ideas for gameplay animations but that would be a long term project!

Essentially, Sigma himself is not the robot, that is his shell. He was a Zoni that was captured and damaged and would have died if he wasn't placed in a new protective armor, since Zoni can't exist in other dimensions because of it. Due to the damage he lost a lot of his Zoni powers but can still do some neat stuff!

The mech suit was designed by the Lombax Praetorian Guard as a defense droid, it's used as a mount and has a claw attack and mouth laser. The claws and strength allow it to traverse multiple different terrains. It has 2 jets behind the saddle to allow for long jumps and fast running speeds. The tail acts as an extra arm to manipulate computers or a non-lethal attack.

With Sigma taking control of the mech, he also can sometimes open portals to travel short distances. If he can gain enough extra power he can sometimes open portal to another dimension. His speaks through the mech, and his voice lower, grainy and a bit more emotional than Clank (as he is not technically a robot himself). His mouth does not open to talk, instead his eyes might glow to indicate he is speaking but otherwise the voice just comes out of the speakers somewhere on the mech. He is very straight forward and calm, not easy to anger and accompanies the Lombax as a he is no longer able to return to the Zoni dimension and prefers the adventure of dimension hopping anyway.

The chest plate can be removed to reveal the inside battery power. The Droid was damaged when the Lombax found it, and the battery cell depleted. Replaced by a Zoni, it gave it a new paint job and power source. Due to the many years now in the suit, it's been agreed that it's too dangerous to try and remove the Zoni within it as they might die.
