The Journal of the Last Viking: Entry 20 - Moon Princess
<<< PREV | FIRST | NEXT >>> As the proverb goes, "No man is an island.", and it is not good for a person to be alone forever. We are social creatures, and we need that interaction with each other, else we could end up in a dark place. However, it is always good to make judgements as to see if someone is worth spending time with, as not everyone has the best intent for those they encounter.
Still, I want to believe that people want to choose life and want to do right by their fellow person, to "treat others the way they themselves wish to be treated", or to "love their neighbor as themselves". This may be seen as naive, but is it wrong to hope for the best even when preparing for the worst?
