Personal art - One Way Transmission
Short comic featuring my character Ronan experiencing some of the challenges with a one way transmission as he navigates through the voids of space alone.
While keeping our own company is a personal choice (and certainly one I appreciate, personally) it can still be lonely to feel a lack of connection when we need it. Or to reach out and find nothing on the receiving end.
Think we've all been there from time to time. Being part of the group, but not exactly involved. Present, but not acknowledged. Speaking but not heard.
Hopefully ya'll out there can find some comfort though and know you're not alone 🌟

I can understand this feeling, I do try to respond to the people who message me, but I also sometimes have a hard time reaching out to them, if only because I usually don't have anything to start a conversation with, but I cherish my friends all the same, it is that silent bond, where we know we are friends and words don't always have to be said.
That is absolutely true. Not everyone is always in a place/position to respond either. There are loads of reasons behind it and of course, there's nothing wrong with it no matter which end you're on. I am so glad you've found these friendships and have these bonds, though, that is heartwarming to hear ✨
