Things I bet you didn't know about me
I like old mustangs and in the between-time of high school and college, I bought a yellow 1973 Mach 1 mustang for a project car. It ran shakily but decently, wouldn't pass smog and it was a V6. I had big dreams for that thing, but reality soon came along and I realized that fix it up would cost way too much for a college student to handle, so it was parted out and eventually sold. I hadn't thought about it for years.
Now it is 2011 and my husband is watching some old car chase movie and I glance over to see a yellow '73 tearing it up in a famous car chase scene. Huh.
I never knew that I had once owned an Eleanor.
So here is a fantasy scene, of me owning my fully restored Eleanor, taking it for a spin in dirty old 1970's Los Angeles, going down to the beach with fellow car afficionado, Lunden. Note our highly accurate* period costumes.
*hahaha no.

If it was a six cylinder, it wasn't a Mach 1. (I think the 73 had a straight six too, can't remember when they switched from the I6 to the V6) The Mach 1 used a 351 Cleveland or 351 Windsor V8, depending on how they were optioned. Hate to sound anal but I'm a bit OCD when it comes to cars.
MACH 1 My absolute FAVORITE Mustang. Thing looked like it was in motion even when it was standing still. I wish I could have bought the one that was for sale long LONG ago but alas I couldn't. Kudos to you for at least having one even if for a short time. Beautiful picture of it as well.
Wow, your husband gave me the link to this fantastic work of yours.
I did a Gone in 60 seconds fanart picture (the original) not at swish as yours but it has the main chase team in it.

Just critiquing a little here, no offense, but I think the one from the 1970's movie had different wheels, and stripe work.
